How the numbers are worked out, and where the prices behind them come from.
Is the Albion Online calculator free?
Yes. Create a free account and the crafting, flipping and farming calculators run on community market data at no cost. Premium is optional and swaps that shared data for your own private market scans.
Where do the market prices come from?
From the Albion Online Data Project, an open database built from price scans contributed by players. Prices are as fresh as the last scan of that item in that city, so thinly traded items can lag behind the market.
How is crafting profit calculated?
Materials are priced at the lowest sell order in your crafting city, then discounted by the resource return rate: 18% base, plus 15% in a city with a matching crafting bonus, plus 59% with focus, plus any daily bonus. Market tax of 4% with premium, or 8% without, comes off the sale price.
What is market flipping?
Buying an item where it is cheap and selling it where it is dear, usually in another city. The flipping calculator compares live prices across cities and ranks the results by profit margin, total profit or ROI.
Which servers are supported?
All three live servers: West (Americas), Europe and East (Asia). Pick your server and every price shown is drawn from that market.
Is this allowed by the game's rules?
Albion Analyser reads public market data and does nothing inside the game client. It is an independent project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Sandbox Interactive.
