This Privacy Policy explains what information Albion Analyser ("we", "us", "our") collects when you use albionanalyser.com and the Albion Analyser desktop app, and how that information is used. Albion Analyser is not affiliated with Sandbox Interactive GmbH or Albion Online.
Information We Collect
We collect the minimum information needed to operate the service:
- Account information — your email address and, if you choose, a username. If you sign in with Google or Discord, we receive the basic profile information (name, email) those providers share with us.
- Payment information — subscription status and billing history for Premium plans. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not receive or store your card number. We store a reference to your Stripe customer and subscription so we can confirm your subscription status.
- Market data (Premium desktop app only) — if you use the Premium desktop app, it reads Albion Online market prices from your own game client as you play. This data is used to power your private flip and crafting results and is tied to your account so it can be shown back to you.
- Technical information — we temporarily process your IP address to enforce rate limits and prevent abuse (e.g. mass account creation, brute-force login attempts). We do not log or retain IP addresses beyond what is needed for this purpose.
We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers on the website.
Cookies
We use a small number of first-party cookies that are required for the site to function:
- sb_at — an httpOnly session cookie that keeps you signed in.
- csrf — a security token used to protect against cross-site request forgery.
These are functional cookies only — we do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.
Referral Links
Some creators promote Albion Analyser with a referral link (for example albionanalyser.com/?ref=EXAMPLE). If you arrive through one, we store that creator's code in your browser's local storage under albion_ref so we can credit them if you later subscribe. This is not a cookie and is not sent to other websites.
- What is stored — the creator's referral code and the time you arrived. Nothing that identifies you.
- How long — 30 days. After that the code is discarded and no credit is given. Arriving through a newer referral link replaces the stored code.
- What we record on our side — that a visit occurred for that code (a count only, with no IP address, device or profile information), and, if you create an account while carrying a code, that your account signed up through it. If you subscribe, we record the subscription against that code so the creator's commission can be calculated.
- What the creator sees — only totals: how many visits, sign-ups and subscriptions their code produced, and the commission owed. They are never shown your identity, email address or any other individual customer's details.
You can remove the stored code at any time by clearing your browser's site data for albionanalyser.com; this does not affect your account or subscription. Visit counts are automatically deleted after 90 days. Referral records tied to your account are removed when you delete your account, other than records we must keep to account for commission already paid.
How We Use Your Information
- To create and secure your account and keep you signed in.
- To verify your Premium subscription and grant access to Premium features.
- To calculate and display crafting, flipping and farming results, including your private market data if you use the Premium desktop app.
- To send account-related emails (e.g. email confirmation, password reset) via Supabase.
- To detect and prevent abuse of the service.
- To credit creators whose referral link you arrived through, as described above.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers listed below, who process it on our behalf.
Third-Party Services
We rely on the following providers to operate Albion Analyser. Each processes a limited set of data as described:
- Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
- Stripe — payment processing for Premium subscriptions.
- Vercel — website and API hosting.
- Cloudflare Turnstile — bot protection (CAPTCHA) on sign-up and sign-in.
- Albion Online Data Project — the source of public market price data shown to free users. No personal data is sent to or received from this service.
Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account from the Account page, your profile and associated data are permanently removed from our systems, other than records we are required to keep for billing, tax or legal purposes.
Your Rights
You can review and update your account details from the Account page at any time, and you can permanently delete your account and associated data from the same page. If you have questions about your data or wish to make a request that isn't covered by these tools, contact us using the details below.
Children's Privacy
Albion Analyser is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
